There are numerous blogging platforms (different systems to create and publish your blog) – I use and recommend wordpress, because it gives users a large amount of free storage and I find the user interface extremely simple.
(this said, I’ve not used all the options, and if you want to explore different systems for yourself, then this link will help you)
So, let’s get set up with your own blog, but before beginning, make sure you have to hand the following:
- an email address (i.e. email@example.com)
- a password you can remember, but that is not too obvious that students will guess it (a combination of numbers and letters is a good idea)
- an idea of what you want to create a blog post blog about – think of a homework, a piece of research or some preparation for a lesson.
